My family in 2019
It's been nine years since I last blogged. Nine years of so many changes and additions to my family. Bentley was born in January 2010 and made me a mom. He is such a great kid and loves to be creative. Penelope joined our family in October 2011. I was so excited to have a daughter and she continues to be my little best friend. Piper then decided to join us and was born in February 2014. She is such a spunky, independent little girl. She's so much fun to be around. Lastly, my baby Marissa completed our family in September 2015. She has tried my patience so many times but she's also a mama's girl and loves to cuddle me.
Since that last blog post in October 2010, we have moved twice. We lived in Springville for about 7 years and our house got a little too small for our growing family. In 2014, after Piper was born, we moved to Spanish Fork. We lived in that home for three and a half years. I loved that home! We renovated from top to bottom. It was a painful process filled with blood, sweat, and tears but so worth it. Our home was beautiful and we were in a great ward.
In 2017, Cam's parents decided to move to Arizona and we had to make the decision to either keep running Teeples Custom Builders or find a new job for Cam. We decided to give Ivory Homes a chance and Cam applied for a superintendent job. Of course, he got it because of all the experience and knowledge he has. He worked for them for about 6 months when a crazy idea popped into our heads. We were sick of the snow and had been eyeing St. George for a little while. Cam applied for a couple of superintendent jobs, not really thinking of a possible move. We were just trying it out. We drove to St. George for his interviews and he was given both job offers. After some praying, we took one of the jobs and the next 6 weeks were wild and crazy while we got our house ready to sell, pack and move, and find a new home in the St. George area.
We have now been in Washington for a year and a half and we are loving living here. The weather has been so great and no snow! We do not miss it. Our family has settled in well and have made new friendships. We love our new home, and of course, we have started renovating projects. It's just what we do.
